The stunning Goofy, a FEI dressage schoolmaster who knows all his required movements and more, is now sadly for sale due to his rider is now out of ponies unfortunately and has moved onto horses. Exciting opportunity to acquire a talented 15 year old New Forest Pony gelding which was member of the Irish Dressage Team team at the 2014 European Pony Championships.
He was imported from The Netherlands in 2011. He competed at 3 CDI’s and many placings including leading New Forest pony at their National Championships with his previous rider.
Since arriving in Ireland he has competed at 3 CDI’s, Addington CDI 2013/14 + Hagen CDI 2013, Hickstead Masters which he gained qualifications for at the Irish winter finals and Hickstead premier league. Placing 12th in the masters class at open medium level (best placed pony) and 2nd in the Premier League.
Goofy (remco) has been the leading dressage pony at the Winter finals 2012, 2013 and at the National Championships 2012, 2013.
He has been a member of the First Irish Pony dressage High Performance Squad and he was the first pony to meet the High Performance criteria.
He has qualified for this year Irish National Championships at medium open level.
He hacks out, very good in traffic, ridden bareback, is easy to load, travel, clip, shoe, has a wonderful character, is always 100% sound, and loves to work. Pony sadly for sale as rider is now out of ponies and has moved onto horses.
